Bennie Gonzales was a local architect known for a distinctive style of Southwestern architecture. He designed much of Scottsdale's municipal buildings and hundreds of residences in Arizona. Michelle thoughtfully renovated this Bennie Gonzales home for her personal residence. Careful consideration was made to the improvements to ensure they complemented the original character and integrity of the design while working closely with the contractor, Modern Design and Build. Some features include an oversized daybed with a fully operable steel-framed picture window framing views of Black Mountain. The existing kitchen was opened up, and the mechanical system was sleekly integrated into the design.
